  • StopBadware claims RealPlayer 10.5 fails to “accurately and completely disclose the fact that it installs advertising software on” a user’s computer. It also claims RealPlayer 11 is badware because it “does not disclose the fact that it installs Rhapsody Player Engine software, and fails to remove this software when RealPlayer is uninstalled.”

  • Besides ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo! and GoogleTalk that everyone out there has right now, this one has some nice extra features. Like Push-to-Talk or the one I like most, RSS push, that pushes RSS feeds to your phone in real time. It’s Java so it probably runs on most phones out there.

  • I spent today on the couch where I woke up creating Twitter accounts for The Wiki Fire, The Whateverist and The Knox Student. Then I used Twitterfeed to feed RSS feeds from each web site to automatically tweet.As of 10:22 p.m., I am still in my pajamas. Yeah, it’s been that kind of day.

  • On September 14 in 2007 John Reese has launched BlogRush, a blog syndication network. Reese says: “Using RSS technology and some of our own, we’ve built an amazing platform to help bloggers receive “mass distribution” for their content across the Internet. And our system doesn’t spam or abuse the Internet in anyway.
